product development

Renew is a reimagined sustainable system of the production and life cycle of the stroller. In this group project, I helped with the ideation, branding and I played a role in in conceptualization, logo refinement and presentation design. We wanted to create not just a stroller that is environmentally conscious, but also incentivize users to participate in our system that will reduce waste in a traditionally over-engineered product. This idea led us to the logo design, which is based off of the shape of an egg, which suggests the renewable nature of our product.

GOAL
Our goal was to design a stroller that is both sustainable and easy to use. We wanted to create a product that reduces pain points for single parents.

INSPIRATION
We had extensively researched other strollers on the market to see how other brands combined form and function. We were also inspired by the modularity and sustainability of bamboo.

VISUAL LANGUAGE
The design language of Renew combines high safety and high quality. We wanted to reduce the industrialized nature of strollers and create a product that looks more user-friendly.
